Job Title: Feed Mill Maintenance

Description: Purpose & Scope: The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the Feed Mill’s business goals and objectives. Including, installation, repairs, adjustments and maintenance of all equipment, machinery, and Feed Mill Facilities. Responsibilities: • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the feed mill’s facility’s equipment. • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. • Perform tasks as assigned by the Feed Mill Manager or Supervisor.  
Qualifications: Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Job Title: Bassano FCSS Director and Community Worker

Description: The Director is responsible for monitoring and evaluating Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) programs/events that are preventative in nature and follow the FCSS mandate. This position is responsible for the coordination of the application process for funding requests and measurement of program results and outcomes. The Director will directly report to the FCSS Advisory Board and when required to Town Council and the Province of Alberta. The successful applicant will:  develop strong partnerships with service providers, community members within our municipality and region;  knowledge of the FCSS Statute, guidelines, mandate and funding requirements;  demonstrates a strong understanding and empathy of community needs;  possess the ability to develop and follow policies, guidelines and procedures;  strong communication skills and ability to work in a Board environment;  ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision;  public speaking and facilitation skills;  attend required Professional Development opportunities, conferences;  financial skills- budgeting, reporting;  valid driver’s license is required. The Community Worker reports to the FCSS Advisory Board and will: 1. assist the community in addressing needs of its members; 2. assist the community to work collaboratively with the Authority in planning, developing, · delivering and evaluating services; 3. employ the principles and practices of community development; 4. assist families to become self-reliant and make responsible choices; 5. provide information on supports and services available; 6. attend required Professional Development opportunities; 7. financial reporting skills; 8. work with government agencies.  
Qualifications: Qualifications - The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain harmonious relations with employees, agencies, general public and community groups. Certifications in first aid, ASSIST, Suicide Prevention are an asset.
