211 Alberta                                                                    


211 is a service that helps Albertans find the right resource or service for whatever issue they need help with, at the right time. 211 is available 24/7 by phone, text and chat.


The Addiction and Mental Health Help Line is a 24 hour, 7 day a week confidential service that provides support, information and referrals to Albertans experiencing addiction and mental health concerns, including problem gambling.


Connect with helplines if you or someone you know is experiencing bullying or abuse.

People at risk of domestic violence have the right to get information about potentially harmful intimate partners. The Disclosure to Protect Against Domestic Violence (Clare’s Law) Act gives people who feel at risk of domestic violence a way to get information about their partners so they can make informed choices about their safety.


Get help if you, or children you know, are being neglected, abused or sexually exploited. If you believe a child is at risk, you must report it. 


To provide legal assistance, information and support to people who would not otherwise have access to such services. Calgary Legal Guidance is designated by the Law Society of Alberta as an approved legal services provider of pro bono services.

The Hope for Wellness Help Line offers immediate mental health counselling and crisis intervention to all Indigenous peoples across Canada.


A telephone service, which provides free 24/7 nurse advice and general health information for Albertans.


Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French.

The Residential Tenancies Legal Information Program is a project of the Legal Resource Centre of Alberta Ltd. We develop plain language online tools, publications, and presentations to help people recognize and respond to their legal rights and responsibilities.


While not everyone can afford a lawyer, every Albertan deserves access to a fair legal system. As a publicly funded, non-profit organization, we provide affordable legal services in family law, domestic violence, child welfare, immigration, and youth and adult criminal defense.


The Alberta One-Line is a province-wide central platform for sexual assault support services.
