PACE Canada

PACE Canada LP has proposed the construction of a 15MW solar farm within the town’s corporate limits on private land (SE ¼ 18-21-18 W4M). To keep current on the solar farm developments, information about the proposed project will be updated here. No decision has been made regarding the proposed solar farm development.
The project was initially introduced to council at their November 20, 2023 meeting. With the provincial government recently lifting the moratorium on renewable energy projects, PACE is taking steps to advance the solar farm project in Bassano.
PACE must begin undertaking a public consultation process and this starts with a town hall meeting on May 15, 2024 at the Bassano Community Hall. The town hall meeting is open to the public and starts at 6:30 p.m. Come down and learn about the proposed solar farm development.
