You are eligible to vote if:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are a Canadian Citizen
- You are a resident of the Town of Bassano on Election Day
Prior to the election, voters should go to Voterlink.ab.ca to register to vote or confirm your
information is correct. If you are not registered on election day, you must sign a declaration to vote.

Information for Candidates:
The nomination period is now open and will run until 12:00 pm on nomination day: Monday, September 22, 2025.
You are eligible to run as a candidate if:
- You are eligible to vote in the election.
- You have been a resident of Bassano for 6 consecutive months immediately preceding nomination day.
- You are not otherwise ineligible.
