Bassano has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool located at 253-6th Avenue, open between June and August annually. Swimming lessons are offered as well as aquafit and lane swim. Public swim is a wonderful opportunity to bring the family and a picnic and enjoy the lovely greenspace or patio or bring a book and relax in the sunshine. The pool has a zero-grade entry, diving boarding, slide, hot tub, and vending machines.
The outdoor pool is the place to be in the summer!

Bassano Outdoor Pool Operations Plan
As a part of the Recreation and Leisure Master Plan, The Town completed a review of the Bassano Outdoor Pool to to maximize operations, to increase the quality and quantity of programs, and to reduce, where possible operational costs. A multi-year operations plan, to begin in 2022 has been prepared that provides solutions to various operational constraints, to advance value through youth leadership and development, and to provide ways to extend operating hours and increase programs where possible with the intent of, overtime, reducing the facility deficit and improved service delivery.
