To the citizens of Bassano,
Please be advised that effective September 1st, 2018 to January 31st, 2019 the Town of Bassano municipal office will be closed to the public on Thursday’s.
The office will be closed to allow council and administration time to tend to a variety of high priority projects, such as, a 3-year operating plan and a 5-year capital infrastructure plan.
We understand that the office closure will be an adjustment for our citizens and we thank you for your patience during this time of transition.
Utility and tax payments can be made online or through local financial institutions.

Town of Bassano
Town of Bassano Council, at the July 9, 2018 Council Meeting, passed first reading towards a new Community Standards Bylaw, regulating unsightly properties and noise in the Town of Bassano.

The Town of Bassano Council regrets to inform that Kevin Miller, Bassano’s CAO, has accepted a position with the Government of Alberta, and will be leaving the Town in August. Bassano Town Council would like to thank Kevin for his efforts during his time here, and wish him success in the future.

At the May 28 Council meeting, Council passed the new Traffic Bylaw for Bassano.

The new Bylaw comes into effect on September 1, 2018.
